Hi Willow,I was given some new pasture recently and Papa included the deck in my playground area. Standing here out of the hot July sun and smelling the sweet honeysuckle is my favortie pastime now.
I wanted you to know what a good life I've had here - though admittedly its been on the lonely side the last year without my good pal Midnight and that old ornery cow Molly. And I remember all those good years I had with you and the trails we rode together. Wish we could have had a few more of those times.
I hear you're married now and live in the big city where its difficult to have a horse in your yard. Frankly, I think the world would be a better place if some of those noisy cars would go out to pasture and we horses could have run of the roads again.
I wish you well in your new life, and wish me well in mine. I'm heading south tomorrow to the big state of Oklahoma to find some new pals among 3 other Appaloosas and a real nice lady that is going to ride me a lot and eventually I'll give her 8 year old daughter the time of her life. Yeah, I promise first to settle down and mind my manners!
