Just wanted to share this with Bet - she gave me these beautiful paperwhite bulbs in their beautiful box vase for x-mas - now they are so big and blooming so sweetly! Thanks Bet - brightens my day! Love you - K

Country Girl

I was just a country girl . . . running like the wind down the road in sun, rain, sleet, or snow . . .









I knew all the relaxing spots on the farm . . .
inside the red barn was my favorite . . . . .
but I could always be found supervising any work or activity all over the home place . . .











Mostly I was perfectly content just to be at the feet of my family . . . . .















It was a good life . .









I'm sorry I had to leave . . .



now, though, I'm in a place where I'm always in the arms of my best friend . .
