One more thing

I just found a cool website. http://www.gono.com/adart/adartgallery.htm. It has old magazine covers from all the way back to the late 1800's. A lot of them are very inspiring. Here are a few favorites:

Randomness

Hello everyone! Why haven't you all been posting! I keep checking, and there is nothing new! How did you boys do at state debate? (Actually I think I will call home right now and ask :) The pictures are of Tim and I getting his room ready (I helped him do some painting because the lady before had painted it an aweful pink color). His rooom is now a cool gray and has 2 cool orangy red walls. The yard picture is of the dirt in our front yard, that now conceals a sprinkler system! I also put up a picture of the new cool magnetic board that I hung in our hallway. It is very funky and cool. Do Mama Goose and Daddy get to see what is on this blog? I miss them, I hope someone is sharing it with them. I would also love to hear from the Barrys. Do they check it? ZZ, what is going on in your life right now? We all miss you. I love you all, tomorrow it is back to school. Have a lovely week,
Betony

willow help

Wierd... I am not sure, but I wonder if it is because you are trying to export them. I usually pretend like I am sending an e-mail from iPhoto (where you can choose small, medium, or large) and then just drag the resized photos into a folder called "for web" and import them from there. To send pictures from iPhoto, select the pictures you want (Use command clicks), then click the e-mail button. Hope this helps,
love you,
bet

hhhmmm..about the post below...

OK so, below is my attempt at sizing the pictures right, by exporting them from Iphoto as well as trying to get the words to line up with the pictures. I have a couple of questions:
1)Why are my pictures so small when all I did was change the format to JPEG. I left them at their normal size, something like 115 x 117, and I clicked the "large" setting when I was putting them in the blog?
2)Why didn't the words line up right? Where do you have to put the text and what position do you have to put the photos so it works right?

This is how I feel right now!

New Painting

Hi guys - love those recent pics! Thanks everyone! Looks like the Colorado trip was a total sucess! Here is a picture that I finished last night - enjoy! It's called "The Journey". I'm headed to the coffee shop this morning with my sketch pad to work on a piece that I'm doing of some dogs for a guy up in Canada. I'm not totally looking forward to it - so thats why I'm going to the coffee shop! Sandy and I are driving up to Cobourg tomorrow around 1pm - so that's where we'll be if you need to call! Have fun shopping in Wichita today Mom and Willow! Wish I were there! Love you all! -K

JJ Demos Blender in Greeley CO

On December 14 and 15, Elaine and I took JJ to Greeley, Colorado so he could once again dazzle people with his Blender skills. In addition to teaching one of Bet's classes, he also did a couple of great presentations for larger groups in the library. We all think he did a great job. And, so did the Technology teacher who wants to bring him back next year. . . for pay!
Yes, we are proud of Jonathan! Mama and Papa.

Betony Teaches Art Class

And here are some pictures of Betony teaching her classes. For those of you who haven't seen Bet in action, you should know that she puts 110% forward all the time. We are all proud of you Betony! You are a great Art Teacher! Papa and Mama
